Default Printer being changed by Windows 10
By default, Windows 10 will automatically set your default printer to the last used printer. So, every time you happen to select and print to a printer other than your default printer, Windows 10 then makes it your default printer. This especially creates problems when printing micr checks in the Accounting feature with Check Factory and the default printer is changed by Windows 10 to the Check Factory printer after each check run. To stop Windows 10 from automatically changing your default printer selection, do the following ...
Left click-on the START button and select SETTINGS .. DEVICES. Turn OFF the "Let Windows manage my default printer" setting.
